Description The Sales Manager is responsible for all Sales metrics in the Central Region. They will be responsible for Coaching and Developing the Sales team to continue to grow the Tate Business. Requirements Perform territory and market analysis within assigned region to understand vertical market segments to promote Tate services and products to. · Identify and develop sales initiatives and constantly identify processes to improve sales metrics. · Implement and develop individual sales plans for account managers that align with company objectives and individuals’ goals. · Train, motivate, develop the sales team to ensure the sales department is competent to perform their duties and able to meet or exceed budgeted sales quotas. · Develop annual sales budget for assigned region and individuals that are both achievable and in line with Tate growth initiatives. · Manage the territory opportunity pipeline and account managers calendars to perform monthly and quarterly forecasting efforts. · Work with the sales team to identify and acquire new customers, while continuing to service and up-sell the existing customer base. · Analyze and monitor competitor activities and develop response strategies. · Engage with vendors to keep abreast of new products and technology trends. · Participate in trade shows and industry membership events ensuring Tate Engineering is visible and network with peers and potential customers. · Responsible for ensuring Tate is exceeding budgets set by manufacturers we represent in our respective regions. · Identify, recruit, interview, and develop new sales team members.
