Sales Manager – Telematics Teltonika Japan is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Manager – Telematics to strengthen our growing team and expand our telematics footprint across the Japanese market. In this role, you will represent Teltonika’s globally recognized telematics solutions, delivering advanced GPS tracking and fleet management technologies to leading companies across system integration, logistics, agriculture, car-sharing, construction, and other mobility-driven industries throughout Japan. Our Telematics Business Unit develops and manufactures reliable, easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet and asset management. By leveraging the latest IoT technologies, Teltonika continues to set new standards within the global telematics industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, building long-term client relationships, and driving sustainable market expansion in Japan. Key Responsibilities Drive new business development across Japan through market analysis and identification of high-potential system integrators and end clients. Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including proactive lead generation, cold calling, networking, and account development. Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers through regular communication, client visits, and solution presentations. Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets within the Japan telematics market. Manage the full B2B sales cycle, particularly complex and longer-term sales processes. Maintain accurate and structured customer data within CRM systems to ensure clear pipeline visibility and reporting. Requirements Business-level Japanese (required) and professional English proficiency (minimum B2 level). Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within telematics, IoT, technology, or system integration sectors. Proven experience in lead generation and cold calling. Strong ability to manage complex sales processes and multiple stakeholder relationships. Experience using CRM systems to track pipeline activity and manage detailed sales data.
