OVERVIEW.

We’re growing fast and we’re looking for a driven, hands-on Sales Manager to lead from the front and take our sales team to the next level. Based in our Sunderland head office, this role is central to driving both the performance and development of our people.
You’ll play a critical role in managing and coaching a team of outbound sales professionals, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring our people are equipped with the skills and mindset to succeed. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads with impact, and brings a blend of operational discipline and coaching flair.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent, on the ground leadership and support to the sales team to drive motivation, accountability, and high performance.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, including spotting trends, addressing underperformance, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Design and deliver training interventions that enhance both product knowledge and sales capability.
  • Identify skills gaps and implement tailored coaching plans to support individual and team progression.
  • Keep the team informed of key market shifts, customer trends, and competitor insights to enhance confidence and sales effectiveness.
  • Act as a culture leader with approachable, reliable, and trusted behaviours.
  • Building a high performing, supportive team environment.
  • Report regularly into the Operations Manager, presenting KPIs, progress against targets, and development plans.
