Description

WHO WE ARE

United Legwear & Apparel Co. (ULAC) is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of apparel, legwear, bodywear, bags, headwear, and accessories.
Since 1998, we’ve built long-standing partnerships with some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including Skechers, Ted Baker, Hurley, Scotch & Soda, and many more. With headquarters in New York City and growing teams across the UK and Europe, we’re expanding fast - and we’re looking for driven, entrepreneurial talent to grow with us.

Responsibilities

WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW?

We’re looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth for our brands across the UK - managing key accounts, opening new doors, and building our presence across volume retailers, independents, marketplaces, and off-price partners. From Scotch & Soda Accessories to socks, underwear, and beyond, this is your chance to make an impact across a dynamic, multi-brand portfolio.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where ideas are welcomed, your impact is visible, and no two days look the same.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

✨ Own & grow our UK sales

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of existing key accounts, ensuring consistent, year-over-year growth
  • Prospect and secure new business with volume retailers, independents, marketplaces, and off-price partners
  • Build trusted, long-term client relationships through excellent service and regular communication
  • Develop tailored sales strategies that reflect each customer’s needs and market dynamics

Drive business development

  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities across brands, product categories, and customer segments
  • Lead negotiations that deliver strong commercial results and build brand presence
  • Introduce new product lines and collections to existing and prospective clients

Run smooth operations & processes

  • Oversee the full sales cycle — from order placement to on-time delivery — in collaboration with customer service and logistics
  • Implement accurate forecasting to support inventory management and avoid stock issues
  • Analyze stock positions and sales data to optimize sell-through and identify growth opportunities
  • Provide market feedback to design and merchandising teams to keep product ranges aligned with demand

Strategic planning & reporting

  • Develop and present sales plans, forecasts, and performance reports to senior leadership
  • Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and exceed targets
  • Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity

Sample & inventory management

  • Manage samples efficiently to support impactful sales presentations and trade shows
  • Ensure showrooms and samples are organized and ready for customer meetings

What you’ll bring

  • Proven success in wholesale fashion sales, ideally 3+ years managing key accounts, with experience in off-price channels or volume retailers
  • Market knowledge of the UK and Republic of Ireland, with strong networks and commercial awareness
  • Product expertise in accessories, underwear, socks, or related categories
  • Relationship builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Data-savvy, with experience in sales analysis, forecasting, and stock management
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ready to roll up your sleeves, chase new opportunities, and grow the business
