Dextra is a global leader in engineered solutions for concrete reinforcement, committed to delivering innovative products and premium services to major construction projects worldwide.
We are expanding our presence in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland and are seeking a Sales Manager (UK & Ireland), ideally based in Newport (Wales) or alternatively in Bristol, or along the M4 corridor up to the M25 junction, to strengthen our relationships with rebar fabricators and precast operators, build influence at both shop-floor and management levels, and actively contribute to our project-oriented commercial development

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in sales within the construction or rebar fabrication industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

ITS SKILLS:

  • CRM Systems: Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for managing sales activities and market intelligence.
  • Microsoft Office: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
  • Sales and Quotation Tools: Familiarity with sales and quotation management tools

OTHER SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build rapport at both shop floor and managerial levels.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to promote value-added services and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Mobile and willing to travel across the UK / Ireland
  • Comfortable working independently while coordinating closely with central and regional teams.
  • Experience with precast manufacturing environments and rebar detailing is a plus.
