We are looking for a Sales Manager – UK & Northern Europe who understands these source markets, knows how to manage tour operators and travel partners, and can convert relationships into sustainable revenue. This role is responsible for growing leisure production from the UK and Northern Europe in line with the hotel’s sales strategy, representing the resort at trade events, managing key accounts, negotiating contracts, and working closely with revenue, reservations, and operations to ensure business is delivered smoothly and professionally. If you are commercially minded, comfortable with international markets, and confident managing leisure accounts end to end, this role offers the chance to make a visible impact in a luxury resort environment. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: Develop and manage leisure business from the UK and Northern Europe through strong relationships with tour operators, travel agents, and leisure partners Plan and execute sales activities including sales calls, client meetings, roadshows, and familiarisation trips Represent InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa at international trade shows and workshops to strengthen market presence Manage key leisure accounts, negotiate contracts, and track production against agreed targets Work closely with Revenue, Reservations, Marketing, and Operations to align rates, availability, and business delivery Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities Analyse account performance and adjust sales strategies to drive sustainable revenue Ensure full compliance with brand standards, ethical contracting, and responsible business practices What We need from you: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field Proven hotel sales experience with a strong focus on leisure markets Minimum two years’ experience managing international source markets, ideally UK and Northern Europe Good understanding of tour operators, contracting cycles, and leisure distribution channels Confident communicator with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience using Opera, Delphi, and MS Office Willingness to travel for sales missions, trade shows, and workshops, with flexibility to meet market demands What you can expect from us: We give our people everything they need to succeed.
