QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

  • A university degree in engineering, business or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in a manufacturing related industry.
  • Proven track record in value-based selling, with the ability to position and sell solutions based on customer needs and long-term value.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and confidence in leading high-level commercial discussions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

We will consider it a plus if you also have:

  • Solid technical understanding of packaging materials or related products.
  • Familiarity with our industry landscape and competitor offerings.
  • Experience working in a matrix or cross-functional European sales environment.
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As Sales Manager UK, you will be a key player in our European Cartonboard Sales team. You’ll be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market share across the UK, working closely with both new and existing customers. Collaboration is at the heart of this role – you’ll work cross-functionally with Brand Owner Management, Customer Service, Product Management, and Sales colleagues across Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver on sales targets and growth objectives for your customer portfolio.
  • Develop Joint Business Plans with customers to achieve targeted growth.
  • Drive revenue and margin growth by turning our strong Business Offer into sales.
  • Establish commercial agreements with customers according to the company’s policy.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Initiate, maintain, and develop existing and new customer relations.
  • Identify prospect and build opportunity pipeline to develop new business.
  • Plan and execute activities to meet targets for volume, margin, and customer satisfaction.
    You will be part of the Cartonboard Sales Organisation, reporting to the Sales Director Cartonboard. This role is UK-based home office role, with frequent travel across the region.
