Our Flow Control Business Line is looking for a professional with experience for Mining and Metals market.

For this position you will be responsible for:

  • Participate in the successful integration of Flow Control with Valmet by developing common processes for cooperation and communicating them to market areas, defining the product mix for various Valmet BL processes and updating applications and training materials.
  • Develop Key Account processes within Flow Control based on Valmet guidelines.
  • Lead the expansion of Flowrox product offering for existing and new Metals and Mining customers in Latam countries.
  • Co-Develop, implement and monitor dedicated Strategic & Sales Plan.
  • Work closely with sales teams providing technical support and monitor sales opportunities related to Metals and Mining customers.
  • Cooperate with R&D and product centers to ensure that the technological needs of OEMs and end customers are taken into account in product development roadmaps.
  • Cooperate and interact closely with the Global Project Sales Teams as well as the local Flow Control sales offices involved in the projects and where the OEMs are located and agree on the project strategy and approach for the Process/ OEM applicable.
  • Provide monthly reports to communicate required information (account development update, actions, market intelligence, competitor behavior, trends, etc.).
  • Support industry management in the development and implementation of business strategy and actions.

In addition, to succeed in this position, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Production or related areas.
  • Solid experience in Process Engineering and experience in the global industrial environment.
  • Business way of thinking and understanding customer drivers in the metals and mining industries.
  • Ability to build long-term strategies and proven experience in implementing strategies.
  • Advanced English (mandatory).
  • Advanced Spanish (mandatory).
  • Fluent Portuguese (mandatory).
  • Availability for travels (national and international).
  • Ability to communicate in multicultural interactions externally with clients and internally within the Valmet organization.
  • Open mind and creative way of solving problems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. The ability to lead a project team is also needed.
