Regional Group Australia is a leading independent Australian construction material producer across VIC, NSW & QLD. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Sales Manager to join our team.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years previous experience in a similar role, preferably with sales management
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets and KPI’s
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Experience in managing and directing a sales team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High-level proficiency with MS Office programs
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Current drivers licence
Responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing Regional Group’s sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. The Sales Manager will set short and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projected sales volume and profit.
  • Developing and driving business by pro-actively sourcing and actioning sales leads.
  • Identifying, building and developing new client businesses within target markets.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results to the Regional Group management team.
  • Building commercial and professional networks to support Regional’s strategic growth opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop and lead tailored solution efforts that best address customer requirements.
  • Meet and exceed predetermined KPIs and sales targets.
  • Ability to identify and harness new business ideas and opportunities and turn these into sales
  • Providing accurate and timely forecasts of future market trends
