Description

: Sales Coordinator (VIE) - Finland
As a Sales Coordinator with Alstom, your primary role will be to provide administrative support in managing sales and business development activities in Helsinki (Finland). This position is based in Finland, and you will work closely with the Nordics Innovation Kiosk team to identify and develop partnerships with local companies in Finland.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and take over all administrative aspects of the sales process including invoicing, purchase orders, and customer follow-ups.
  • Support the Nordics innovation kiosk in identifying innovations and possible partnerships with local companies in Finland.
  • Assist in business development by following up on business opportunities with VR (services for existing Alstom train fleet, retrofit of diesel locomotives, ETCS onboard signaling for the whole fleet).
  • Coordinate with the technical team to get the information required to prepare the proposals and offers for the potential clients.
  • Ensure that all sales-related documentation is accurate, complete, and given in due time; including client/supplier contracts and financial/commercial terms and conditions.
  • Prepare reports and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and competitors.
  • Partner with other sales coordinators and Alstom teams to ensure successful and smooth sales operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of Finnish or Swedish is a plus.
  • Previous experience in sales administration, ideally gained in an industrial environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present proposals and offers to key stakeholders.
  • Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage business relationships and influence decision-making.
  • The ability to analyze and interpret complex data, to prepare reports and proposals, and optimize the value of the sales force.
  • Ability to self-organize, priorities work and work independently.

Duration: 12 months
