Watkin Motors Ford – Canada’s Oldest Established Ford Dealership located in beautiful Vernon, BC has a rare opportunity for the right candidate.Our current Sales Manager has been promoted to General Manager, so we are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our driven and reputable team. We believe in great relationships with our guests, team members, and suppliers. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Lead the variable departments (New, Used, F&I) with hands-on coaching and support for the sales and finance teams.
· Analyze sales & inventory trends to ensure the right mix of new and used vehicles, optimized for market demand and turnover, while maximizing profitability.
· Appraisals, purchasing, reconditioning, and marketing of used vehicles.
· Drive recruitment, training, and performance management while developing future talent.
· Champion a culture of excellence through action and results.
· Focus on repeat and referral business using Dealership CRM systems.
· Build lasting customer relationships that create loyalty and referrals.
· Stay up-to-date on manufacturer programs, products, and promotions, sharing updates with the team.
· Assist in forecasting unit sales, profits, and expenses for New and Used departments.
· Collaborate across the dealership to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
