Role Overview We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to build and scale a strong sales pipeline for ticketing and experiences in Qatar. This role is focused on origination identifying, pitching, and closing partnerships with event organizers, venues, experience providers, and promoters. The ideal candidate brings an established local network, strong negotiation skills, and a hunter mentality. Key Responsibilities1. Pipeline Development & Deal Origination Build and manage a robust sales pipeline for: Live events (concerts, sports, cultural events) Experiences (attractions, tours, lifestyle experiences) Proactively source and engage: Event organizers and promoters Venues and experience operators Entertainment and lifestyle partners Own the full sales cycle: Lead generation → pitch → negotiation → deal closure → onboarding handover 2. Partnerships & Relationship Management Leverage an existing local network to unlock high-value partnerships. Establish long-term, trust-based relationships with partners. Act as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned partners. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the platform. 3. Market Development & Strategy Identify white spaces and gaps in the local ticketing and experiences market. Provide market feedback on: Pricing models Commission structures Product and feature needs Work closely with internal teams (Ops, Marketing, Product) to ensure successful launches and campaigns. 4. Performance & Reporting Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting. Report on: Pipeline value Closed deals Revenue contribution Deliver against agreed commercial targets and KPIs. 5+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development, ideally within: Ticketing Events Entertainment Hospitality or lifestyle platforms Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline from scratch. Strong existing network within Qatar’s events, entertainment, or experiences ecosystem. Proven track record of closing commercial deals. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic. Preferred Profile Experience working with: Event promoters Venues Experience aggregators or platforms Background in startup or scale-up environments. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
