We now have a fantastic new opportunity for a Front of Office and Sales and Marketing creative to join our team and contribute to the future success of Howth Castle Cookery School.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Passionate about food, hospitality and customer service
  • Will have previous experience in a similar role admin / sales and marketing role
  • Be an excellent communicator, have fluent English and have a very high standard of personal presentation.
    This is a full time role.
Responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent customer service experience to all potential and existing students / guests
  • Understand and manage the online class booking system
  • Day to day managing of the admin office
  • Processes online reservations, cancellations and modifications promptly
  • Up sell castle tours, whiskey and wine tastings, musical experiences etc
  • Understand the cookery school’s policy on reservations, cancellations, vouchers and no-shows
  • Ensure all guest / student queries are handled promptly and efficiently
  • Answer all student inquiries and provide a positive impression to all students and guests of the cookery school.
  • Point person for all email correspondence with tour group operators, acting as corporate client liaison and for our retail class programme.
  • Collaborate with additional service providers to the School - whiskey tastings, Castle tours, Hope Beer, Hidden Howth Experiences as well as outside musicians etc.
  • Liaise with Accounts department with regards to corporate rates and packages as well and invoicing details.
  • Work closely with all retail and corporate guest queries to secure bookings and provide follow up and support (menu discussion and choices, dietary preferences,alle rgies, additional experiences etc).
  • Liaise with Fingal Chamber of Commerce, Failte Ireland, Tourism Ireland.

Initial point of contact to relay the requests of our guests / students. You’ll co-ordinate and liaise with cookery school chefs / tutors / waiters and corporate events managers.

  • Additional duties to facilitate the cookery school’s operations, as needed.
  • Management of cookery school’s social media.
