JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will be focused on improving our data-driven approach to sales, marketing, and pricing through advanced analytics and robust reporting. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, data-driven and passionate about making an impact. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting analyses and creating reporting to help the Sales and Marketing teams manage performance and drive growth. This position will report to the Director of Pricing & Marketing Analytics and be fully dedicated to supporting the Sales and Marketing teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Degree in business, marketing, economics, statistics, engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required depending on experience.
  • Understanding of different data sources in an analytical data environment (Google Analytics, Facebook, Segment, Braze, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with marketing/general business KPIs and measurement
  • Interest in learning SQL/Snowflake, Domo/Reporting platforms, Microsoft Excel required. Current experience with analytical tools a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales & Marketing teams, Business Intelligence Leads, and Data Engineers.
  • Prior energy experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Marketing & Sales Analytics:
  • Analyze the performance of customer acquisition and retention programs, across multiple channels, including but not limited to digital (search, social, email, display/video advertising), online and offline partnerships, direct mail, and sales (indirect, in-person, call center).
  • Create, update, and maintain various weekly/monthly reporting packages and dashboards for marketing and business leadership.
  • Support initiatives including customer acquisition cost optimization, attribution and media mix modeling, audience segmentation, and retention reporting.
  • Pricing Analytics
  • Update/automate, clearly document, & proactively identify pricing opportunities for retail pricing processes.
  • Track and monitor changes/trends for Price to Compare, Costs of Goods, & pricing over time.
  • Partner closely with Wholesale and Finance on input costs (energy, RECs, etc).
  • Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams (channel managers, lifecycle marketing) to support marketing campaigns and sales efforts.
  • Collaboration and Innovation
  • Work with business leaders to define and scope reporting/pricing needs and translate needs into dataset/reporting requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Intelligence counterparts to centralize, streamline, and test new data sources/analytics.
  • Develop data-driven insights to drive innovation enabling more real-time strategic decision making.
  • Present findings and insights to business stakeholders as needed.
