JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Sales and Marketing Assistant at Silver Hill Duck, you will play a key role in supporting the sales and marketing team in their efforts to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and support client relations. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where you will be involved in a variety of tasks from sales support to marketing campaign execution. A strong passion for food products, marketing, and an eagerness to travel and represent the brand is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and marketing tools.
  • Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a willingness to contribute new ideas.
Responsibilities
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks including customer correspondence, order processing, preparing sales reports, and managing customer databases.
  • Marketing Assistance: Help in creating and executing marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including social media, email, and online ads. Collaborate on the development of promotional materials such as brochures, product sheets, and website content.
  • Event Coordination: Support the team in organising and attending trade shows, events, and product launches. You may be required to travel for in-person events and trade exhibitions nationally and internationally.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with current clients, while supporting efforts to secure new business. Assist in managing customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Market Research: Assist in researching industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences to help inform marketing and sales strategies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Compile and analyse sales and marketing data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for growth.
