Position Overview:
The Sales and Marketing Automation Specialist at ODL, Inc. plays a crucial role in enabling business growth by leveraging technology for collaboration and efficiency. Agile and constantly learning, this role must understand the needs of internal and external customers to maintain essential business systems such as our CRM, marketing automation, digital asset management (DAMs), Product Information Management (PIMs), and other technologies leveraged by go-to-market teams. This role is part of the Digital Marketing team and serves as the main point of contact on these technologies for sales, marketing, customer service, IT, and other business functions. The sales and marketing automation specialist serves as the owner of processes and best practices in addition to functionality.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce and HubSpot CRM systems, including user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, customization, and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and automated workflows in Salesforce and HubSpot to support sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee data integrity activities to ensure the accuracy, completeness, deduplication, and data cleansing of customer, account, and opportunity data as they relate to sales and marketing.
  • Create and maintain sales and marketing reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain consumable and actionable interfaces for complex datasets, including product and account information.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations between systems, including ERP, CRM, and marketing automation.
  • Provide training and support to sales and marketing teams on system usage, best practices, and troubleshooting issues to maximize user adoption and efficiency.
  • Continuously assess and optimize sales and marketing processes by leveraging system capabilities and create BOS documents to establish and document key processes.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other team members to align automation strategies with business goals.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Liaise with system vendors and consultants.

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of managing go-to-market systems, including Salesforce and HubSpot specifically.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in Salesforce Administrator/Advanced Administrator and HubSpot Automation certification are highly desirable.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as workflows, process builder, and automation rules.
  • Proven experience working with digital asset management, product information management, and other marketing technologies.
  • Basic SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS knowledge; Apex a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP preferred; Oracle CPQ a plus.
  • Experience with integrating complex business systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from data.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industries highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and support users at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
