Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all catering sales and event execution, ensuring seamless coordination from proposal to post-event follow-up.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored, memorable experiences.
  • Collaborate with culinary, banquet, and sales teams to create customized menus and event plans that align with client expectations and brand standards.
  • Drive revenue through strategic prospecting, networking, and cultivating repeat business and referrals.
  • Manage the catering sales budget, including forecasting, goal setting, and expense control.
  • Ensure all catering events meet or exceed service, quality, and presentation standards.
  • Supervise and mentor the Catering team, promoting professional development, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Maintain detailed event documentation, contracts, billing records, and post-event evaluations.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demand to position the property as a preferred destination for events.
  • Represent the property at community events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote catering services.

Who You Are

  • A dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality and an eye for detail.
  • Experienced in catering sales, event planning, and banquet operations—preferably in a hotel, resort, or conference setting.
  • Client-focused with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Skilled at managing multiple events simultaneously with professionalism and poise.
  • Financially savvy with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue strategy.
  • Creative and solutions-oriented, always looking for ways to exceed expectations.
  • A hands-on manager who inspires, supports, and leads by example.
  • Proficient in catering/event software, Microsoft Office Suite, and property management systems.
