Your Role in Marketing
As a key member of the Marketing team, you will work closely with the Company Manager and fellow team members to implement effective sales and marketing strategies for Gateway Arts’ programmes — including, but not limited to, theatre productions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of Gateway Arts’ programmes to effectively engage stakeholders, build brand awareness, and drive ticket sales.
- Establish and nurture partnerships that enhance sales, marketing reach, and audience engagement.
- Lead outreach initiatives to schools, corporations, and groups to maximise attendance and ticket sales.
- Identify, plan, and implement targeted sales and marketing strategies to grow and retain audiences.
- Conceptualise and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and improve audience recall.
- Assist in the creation, design, and production of marketing collaterals and promotional materials.
- Manage and streamline the booking process for schools, corporations, and group clients.
- Conduct market research to monitor trends and identify new marketing opportunities.
- Support social media marketing — including monthly content planning, campaign execution, analytics monitoring, and content optimisation.
- Collect and analyse data across marketing channels to generate insights and improve audience engagement and conversion strategies.
- Monitor, document, and report on media coverage of Gateway Arts’ programmes.
- Design and administer patron surveys; compile and analyse results to develop actionable marketing recommendations.
Events Management & Ticketing
- Manage ticket inventory and fulfilment to optimise sales and ensure smooth allocation across audience segments.
- Coordinate ticketing requirements for donors, sponsors, partners, corporations, schools, groups, and internal personnel.
- Oversee the end-to-end process for both internal and external ticket requests and distribution.
- Liaise with school representatives to organise student arrival, seating, and dismissal logistics on performance days.
- Work closely with ticketing agents to coordinate door sales and manage ticketing operations effectively.
- Support front-of-house (FOH) operations and collaborate with venue FOH managers to deliver a smooth and professional audience experience.
- Respond to and resolve audience feedback and queries during events.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special initiatives such as fundraising galas, outreach programmes, and educational events.
Others
- Maintain marketing documentation and administrative records.
- Support other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass/Marketing Communications, Arts Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing.
- Self-disciplined, independent, and goal-oriented individual.
- Detail-oriented, well-organised, and resourceful.
- Strong ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and assignments effectively.
- Creative and proactive, with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
- A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Good knowledge of Singapore’s arts scene—particularly theatre—is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, Eve of Public Holidays, and Public Holidays, when necessary.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is an added advantage.
