Job Title:              Sales & Marketing Intern Reports to:         Director of Marketing & Communications Job Summary The Marketing Intern will be responsible for becoming familiar with the products produced at Yellowstone Plastics. The Intern will create marketing collateral and develop a lead list for flexible packaging opportunities. This individual will work closely with the Flexible Packaging Product Manager, the Director of Marketing & Communications, Regional Sales Managers, and select Sales Account Managers to achieve the desired results.   Essential Duties * Familiarize oneself with the core products produced at Yellowstone Plastics * Research B2B lead generation tools, creating a summary of findings * Use online tools to identify packaging brand owners  * Look for local businesses that ship products or use B2B lead-generation tools  * Create Lead List from data compiled * Create an introductory marketing email and/or direct-mail piece for use by sales for initial contact Required Skills and Abilities * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong self-starter attitude * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and autonomously Education and Experience * Actively enrolled in a Business, Marketing or Communications degree program * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite * Previous graphic design experience Physical Requirements * Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods of time. * Capability to lift and carry objects of various weights. * Proficiency in using hands, fingers, and arms for tasks such as typing and writing. * Sufficient visual acuity to read documents and recognize details at close and distant ranges. * Ability to hear and understand verbal communication. * Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach low or high objects. * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects. * Adaptability to work in varying environmental conditions, such as temperature extremes, noise, dust, or fumes, depending on the nature of the job. * Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear protective gear, including helmets, goggles, gloves, and safety shoes, as required by the job.
