Description

We are looking to hire a Head of Sales & Marketing Manager. Your mission is to lead our Sales and Social Media Team, develop different branding techniques and marketing campaigns, create and implement long-term marketing strategies, and focus on developing marketing initiatives to increase sales and profitability for our multiple brands, which include Ormskirk Food and Drink Market, EPIC Home Collection, and EPIC Apartments and Hotel.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A creative and proactive approach to sales and marketing.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Commercial awareness for hospitality.
  • Knowledge and awareness of similar markets, trends, and competitive environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Motivational attitude to make positive and constructive input to the team.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
    We expect our Managers and Supervisors to be knowledgeable of company products and services and take ownership of the brand basic standards and ensure this is implemented throughout the team.
Responsibilities
  • Actively attract new customers/guests while retaining existing ones. Develop target market campaigns, utilise social media and engage in community outreach to promote Ormskirk Markets and EPIC offerings.
  • Identifying ways to maximise revenue, covers and stayovers. Promoting special offers, packages and discounts
  • Understanding market trends, customer and guest needs and competitor strategies is vital. Conduct regular research to identify opportunities for growth and tailor their strategies accordingly.
  • To build relationships in the town via networking and hosting in-house events to promote sales.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for pursuing them.
  • Create and implement a sales strategy to ensure all in-venue and digital marketing content is in line with overall sales strategy (social media, e-mail campaigns and website).
  • Work with the team to develop and suggest new creative ideas and strategies for sales and marketing campaigns and concepts.
  • Ensure the brands are engaging with guests through all our SM platforms and working in partnership with third party companies and online personalities to drive SEO.
