THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

We are looking for a first-class communicator with the ability to coordinate marketing activities, liaise with the relevant people (whether that be internal departments or external clients). With an excellent eye for detail and a passion for British manufacturing you have a flair for creating stylish and interesting content. You are a hands-on, capable self-starter with a can-do attitude and experience planning your work and taking responsibility for your projects.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ESSENTIAL SKILLS

3 years’ experience in a sales and marketing role within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eye for detail and proficient writing skills
Account handling experience
B2B and B2C
Proficiency in marketing tools, analytics platforms and content creation software
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
Current clean driving licence

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

The successful candidate will head up and lead the sales and marketing function. An applicant keen for a new and exciting challenge. Initially you will be working on increasing the business profile with existing clients and via social media channels and aligning the website to showcase our capabilities and highlight our brand values. You will work on establishing deeper relationships with clients and promoting our successes through sales and marketing campaigns to attract new customers and tap into new markets.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing the marketing plan for the company in line with company objectives
Achieve and excel financial sales targets
Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities
Development of the Website and supporting social media channels
Creation and publication of all marketing materials in line with marketing plans
Monitor and report on relevant competitor activities
Oversee and approve all marketing material
