Description

Great National South Court Hotel is seeking to recruit a creative and dynamic individual to join the Sales & Marketing Team.
As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be primarily responsible for executing the sales strategy of the hotel with the ultimate objective of maximizing revenues across all revenue-generating outlets to include bedrooms, meetings and events, and food and beverage. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, energetic, creative and high-performing individual with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and maximising the Hotel’s revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Work to deliver the budgeted sales revenue for the hotel across all revenue generating departments while proactively managing all aspects of the Sales &
  • Marketing role through appropriate communications of all necessary details to all relevant departments.
  • Devise and implement the overall strategic sales and marketing plan for the hotel and actively monitor its progress in terms of achieving KPI’s, budgets and revenues.
  • Liaise with the General Manager and Great National Head Office in adopting price strategies across the hotel.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with our key corporate clients and have an in-depth knowledge of all our business providers and their needs.
  • Analyse current markets and source new markets while identifying potential clients and securing new corporate accounts.
  • Execute tour series contracting.
  • Ability to execute effectively a focused marketing plan, and to strengthen our brand identity and engagement in particular the promotion of the food & beverage offerings in the locality through designing and overseeing sales and marketing activities for the food and beverage outlets.
  • Organise and conduct site inspections and familiarization trips in conjunction with the Hotel team.
  • Manage the number and performance of third party and promotional websites and liaise with providers in ensuring optimisation of the hotel’s online position.
  • Proactively monitor the Hotel’s profile on the various social media platforms and ensure appropriate responses are posted in a timely fashion.
  • Conduct weekly snapshot meetings with the hotel team and update on activities/sales to date and plans for the weeks ahead.
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team on a monthly basis.
  • Actively participate in and represent the hotel at consumer trade fairs, mall promotions and tourism events both at local and national level.
  • Organise on and off-site client entertainment as the business requires.
