SALES OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking for a Sales Office Administrator to join our dynamic team to manage customers’ orders, quote requests and general business-related inquiries. We are looking for an individual to maintain excellent working relationships with our ever-expanding customer base, suppliers and internal teams alike. An eye for detail, best in field customer service and impeccable time keeping are a must, as well as being able to work well with others and independently. Full training will be given, and ongoing where needed.
Reports to - Sales & Operations Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptional, confident telephone manner
  • Great communication skills, spoken and written
  • Computer System Processing, Microsoft Outlook & Excel experience
  • Able to work within a fast-paced environment, focused on the business needs & priorities
  • Can-do attitude, willing to get involved to assist the wider team as and when necessary
  • Calm, flexible and pragmatic attitude, with the ability to “shift through the gears” when needed
  • Confidence to bring solution ideas to assist the wider team / business needs
  • Punctual, conscientious, considerate and tolerant, with a calm and pragmatic approach to problem solving within the work environment
  • Based in or close to Sussex area

Responsibilities
  • Offering excellent customer service via phone, email and various online portals (incl Amazon & eBay)
  • Delivering trusted support to the Business Development Managers, trade customers and end users alike where required
  • Identifying new sales opportunities, up-selling and/or passing through to the wider sales team (BDM’s)
  • Effectively and efficiently processing orders, ensuring 100% accuracy
  • Compiling timely and accurate customer quotations
  • Dealing with inbound customer service inquiries, including stock, pricing, order status and warranty returns inquiries
  • Maintaining the company system and ensuring all data you handle is accurate
  • Assist in the system processing of returns and warranty repairs, to include Amazon, eBay, trade customers and end users
  • Building excellent rapport with all customers and fellow team members
  • To assist in all other ad-hoc admin tasks that fall upon the Internal Sales desk team
  • Outbound calls to existing clients in regards sales opportunities
