KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Achieve revenue, gross profit pounds and sales margin targets.
  • Maximise the value of transactions through the use of contract support, preferred suppliers, add on sales and ‘asking for the businesses.
  • Analyse and track branch based reporting in order to identify and build activity based sales plans.
  • Assist in driving down operational costs through effective communication with Operations Managers, Transport Managers and Warehouse Managers on a daily basis.
  • Adhere to company policy and trade with integrity.
  • Driving down branch and company ‘debtor days.

Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

The Sales Office Manager will lead and manage the Bluebay team within the West Thurrock site, driving performance to ensure delivery of revenue, gross profit pounds and margin financial targets through intelligent trading, customer service excellence and strong leadership skills. In addition to this, building strong relationships with our customers, suppliers (both internally and externally), and the field sales force will be key to achieving success in this role.

ROLE SUMMARY

Working in partnership with the Sales Director, you will build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, Sales Managers and suppliers. You will demonstrate effective leadership, coaching, relationship building and cost control measures to deliver the business budget.
