Examples of Sales Professional Responsibilities Commerce & Marketing Company: - Consulting sales to Rakuten Ichiba merchant clients as an EC consultant - Proposing new affiliations with Rakuten Travel to hotels and ryokans nationwide - Collaborating with merchant brands to plan and execute marketing strategies that lead to brand value improvement, as well as special projects like limited-edition products and pre-sales for Rakuten members, etc Ad & Media Company: - Interviewing advertisers and merchants about their challenges and providing consulting sales based on those insights - New client acquisition within the assigned domain - Proposing upsells and cross-sells, and building long-term relationships - Planning and proposing integrated marketing solutions combining Rakuten Group's assets (data, media, points, etc.) - Strengthening collaboration with advertising agencies, and planning/executing sales promotion measures, etc Work Environment - Primarily in their 20s and 30s. - A flat organizational structure that encourages challenges. - Even after joining, you will be in an environment where you can deepen your understanding of Rakuten's services and business models and further hone your sales skills through On-the-Job Training and various training programs.
