JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Sales & Operations Support Associate to join our bath, flooring, and tile retail team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers while also providing behind-the-scenes support to ensure the sales team operates smoothly. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day sales activities, order fulfillment, and client service. Accounting or marketing experience is considered a strong asset and offers additional opportunities for growth within the company.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or home improvement is an asset, but not required—training will be provided.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone/email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google, and/or POS systems; QuickBooks or marketing software experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also handling tasks independently.
  • Interest in developing skills and growing within the company.
  • Available weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in the showroom with product inquiries, selections, and purchases.
  • Support the sales team by preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Manage order fulfilment, including tracking shipments, arranging deliveries, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Support warehouse organisation, preparing orders, moving heavy products and inventory control.
  • Provide administrative support such as maintaining records, handling customer communications, and updating sales documents.
  • Contribute to showroom presentation by organizing displays, restocking samples, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with contractors, designers, and other key accounts to ensure project needs are met.
  • Support accounting functions such as invoicing, reconciliations, and record-keeping using QuickBooks or similar software.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including social media updates, in-store promotions, and other initiatives to drive sales.
