Description

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.
We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You’ll be joining a small, dynamic sales operations team that supports an international sales force working on multiple events across Asia, including digital and virtual events. Our portfolio spans industries like Food & Hospitality and Processing & Packaging.

As a Sales Operations Executive, here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Responding promptly to inquiries and information requests from potential customers.
  • Handling exhibitor questions and concerns before, during, and after the show, both onsite and remotely.
  • Editing and sending contracts, along with other legally binding documents, to exhibitors.
  • Coordinating with overseas sales operations and accounts teams to manage invoicing, outstanding payments, and payment receipts.
  • Actively following up with exhibitors on outstanding payments, ensuring you have clear visibility on all payments and exhibitors.
  • Collaborating with overseas sales operations teams to ensure alignment on processes and procedures.
  • Keeping track of ever-changing floor plans and ensuring up-to-date copies are maintained.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales reports with all required information.
  • Managing the distribution of online exhibitor manuals, being the main point of contact for exhibitor inquiries, tracking important form deadlines, and following up with exhibitors to ensure timely submissions.
  • Providing external sales agents with all relevant event details (e.g., brochures, pricing) and maintaining regular communication with them.
  • Leading the agent commission process post-event, including raising POs through Oracle for invoicing.
  • Managing and updating the CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring all leads and potential leads are properly logged.
  • Creating and executing email campaigns via Adestra, tracking campaign performance, and providing the sales team with leads generated from opens and clicks

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales operations, ideally within events or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Adestra, Oracle, or similar CRM systems (full training will be provided).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the sales operations team.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
