Description Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to serve as the Sales Operations Manager on our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing insightful sales analysis and strategic recommendations to support the growth and success of our business development initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of sales metrics, data analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies. Key Responsibilities: Sales Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive sales performance reports and dashboards to track key metrics and KPIs. Collaboration: Work closely with the business development team to understand their needs and provide analytical support for decision-making. Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. Strategic Recommendations: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the business development team to enhance sales strategies and achieve targets. Forecasting: Assist in sales forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure accurate and reliable projections. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales analysis and reporting. Training and Support: Train and support team members on the use of sales analysis tools and methodologies. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Proven experience in sales analysis, business development, or a similar role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field. Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or consulting sectors Knowledge of CRM systems and sales automation tools such as Salesforce.
