We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Operations Manager to support our research leaders in driving client engagement and business growth.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Operations Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our research scientists with sales-related activities. This individual will be responsible for client outreach coordination, managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, conducting data analysis using platforms, tracking leads, and assisting in the development of proposals. This position requires a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who can bridge the gap between research and sales to facilitate smooth client interactions and drive revenue growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, business development support, or client coordination: experience in a research, consultancy, or scientific environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and data analysis tools (experience with lead tracking software preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to support sales strategies.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with research scientists to understand client needs and sales objectives.
  • Manage and update the CRM system with accurate client and lead information; ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct analysis of client data and market intelligence using GlobalData and other relevant tools to identify sales opportunities and trends.
  • Coordinate client outreach efforts, scheduling meetings, and following up on leads to maintain engagement.
  • Track and report on leads, sales pipelines, and client interactions to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation and development of sales proposals, ensuring alignment with research capabilities and client requirements.
  • Support CRM adoption and provide training or guidance to team members as needed.
  • Perform ad hoc sales operations tasks to support business growth and operational efficiency.
