Description
Your mission Create a single, reliable view of lab work demand, project pipeline, proposal workload and delivery capacity across Proteros' departments, acting as the central focal point for cross-functional resource planning. Consolidate demand and capacity information from department heads and scientific teams into one integrated planning view. Prepare and run a regular weekly cross-functional "Front end meeting" to triage and match incoming RFQs and ongoing proposals with available scientific and PM capacity. Govern RFQ and proposal prioritisation when capacity is limited. Prepare weekly resource allocation meetings managed by department heads and maintain a 2-to-6-week view of PM and scientist capacity in each department. Act as single point of contact for allocation decisions between departments and functions. Proactively propose allocation decisions based on business requirements and facilitate escalation to senior management in case of difficult trade-offs between competing priorities. Drive continuous improvement and development of tools, templates and planning routines for short- and long-term capacity planning. Implement and further develop tools, templates and routines to improve the planning process and create more transparency across departments. Your profile 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in operational roles in project businesses. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional operational processes in matrix organizations. Experience balancing commercial ambition with operational constraints. Experience implementing process governance, planning discipline and performance management. Ideally experience in a scaling mid-sized business rather than only in large corporates. Ideally experience in CRO, CDMO, pharma services or another project-based expert business such as consulting. Strong senior leadership presence and credibility with the ability to build trust across scientific, commercial and leadership teams. Ability to manage scientific ambiguity and facilitate pragmatic decisions on imperfect information. Operational and process excellence mindset. Strong commercial understanding and ability to translate data into decisions. Strong change leadership and execution focus. Why us? An innovative profession in an intellectually stimulating environment. Challenging and scientifically driven projects. Making a significant contribution to the discovery of novel and unique drugs. Working with customers around the globe. Competitive salaries and bonus program.
