SALES ORDER DESPATCH TECHNICIAN

Customers include Coca-Cola, Eddie Stobart, Morrison’s, Jaguar Landrover, AO.com, and JD Sports amongst many others. This is an expanding and dynamic sector, which changes as new technologies are developed.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

To support its continued growth, Renovotec is recruiting for a Sales Order Despatch Technician, working from our Normanton site on a two shift basis (7am to 3pm and 11am to 7pm Mon-Fri, alternating weeks). As part of Sales Order Despatch Team, you are expected to configure and despatch sales orders to meet customer deadlines. There is also a requirement to communicate between different teams within Renovotec to establish the configuration information required for orders.
The Team also stage new devices for shipment to customers, this includes installing all customer required software, setting up network and security parameters, as well as all required device settings.
This is a busy and challenging environment where teamwork is essential in order to achieve our objectives. You will be a good problem solver, able to investigate issues and come up with resolutions in a timely manner. You will receive significant training and exposure to a range of different technologies.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Book in equipment that is delivered to us on a daily basis.
  • Configure devices to a certain specification so they work out of the box when they reach a customer.
  • Assemble a full kit list of equipment that the customer requires and despatch it to them in a timely manner.
  • Management of stock control within the office.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic networking knowledge.
  • Communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and Windows operating system.
  • Experience in how a computer operates
