Description

We have an opportunity for a Sales Order Processing Clerk to assist in the day to day smooth running of the office.

General Duties

  • Answering the telephone
  • Dealing with Customer enquiries, providing quotations and technical advice
  • Entering Sales Orders on to Sage 50
  • Shipping - arranging both UK and International shipments with various couriers, customs declarations and procedures
  • Filing
  • Marketing - preparing promotional flyers to send to customers via email
  • updating CRM
  • General Administration duties

Person Specification

  • Exceptional planning and administration skills. You must be able to multitask.
  • Good with outlook, Excel, CRM and data entry.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experience working flexibly in a small team, building strong day-to-day relationships with colleagues.
  • Able to manage a varied workload, balancing scheduled tasks with daily requests
  • Experience in using Sage Line 50 or similar accounts package an advantage

Qualifications

  • Good general level of education minimum 5 GCSE grade 5 or above
  • Computer literate: confident and proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Worked within an office environment for at least 3 years

Hours – 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
8.30am to 4.00pm on Friday
Holidays – 28 Days including Bank Holidays
