JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our Transportation and building materials company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of construction and building products (e.g., aggregate, cement,..) to contractors, retailers, wholesalers, and individual clients. The role requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in sales, preferably in building materials, construction, or related industries.
  • Education: High school diploma required; degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction materials (e.g., cement, aggregate, transportation ,…).
  • Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in [English/Arabic/Hindi or Urdo].
  • Customer Service: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and approach potential clients (contractors, builders, retailers, etc.) to generate new business.
  • Present, promote, and sell building materials using persuasive techniques.
  • Provide product knowledge, technical advice, and solutions to customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to close deals.
  • Maintain and expand a database of prospective and existing clients.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to network and promote products.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
