This role will be based in Frisco, TX and will be hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)
KDP is seeking an Analyst to join our Analytics & Operations team working on the Cold Beverages Route to the Market. This individual’s responsibility will be to forecast quarterly and annual plans and lead the process, development, and management of reporting to effectively track and visualize performance and key trends across the business. By leveraging various types of data reporting (internal sales, syndicated, etc.), this individual will help identify Route-to-Market sales opportunities, and propose solutions into corrective actions for the field sales teams and Executive Leadership regarding annual sales objectives on key brands, innovation, and emerging brand launches. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, process driven, analytical, technically apt solutions oriented, and can manage multiple projects at once.
The candidate will work with the other members of the Forecasting and Execution Excellence team to share the best practices and work on ad hoc cross-system projects as needed. And, as the key connection between the field sales team and HQ, they will work cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance, economics, statistics, marketing, or related field required with 2+ years of experience in CPG sales/category analytics or related field
  • Understanding and experience using analytical concepts: hypothesis development, framing the situation, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations
  • Strong ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple projects at once that include managing large data sets.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner, comfortable operating in fast-paced and fluid matrixed organization
  • Collaborative nature and desire to add value, no matter what the situation.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms like Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau preferred
  • Familiarity with CPG analytic tools - IRI, Margin Minder, Kantar, MicroStrategy preferred
  • Data automation abilities – experience in enhancing speed of report generation and speed to insights, e.g. Alteryx or something similar preferred
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create storytelling presentations and analyze data effectively preferred
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Route to Market organizations to develop and support processes and tools, ensuring we are delivering against yearly financials and enhancing performance / execution.
  • Manage routine KPI reviews with Route to Market partners, where we commercialize tools including training on functionality, data interpretation, and insights application to inform action plans for key areas of improvement
  • Prepare content for, participate in, and assist in coordination of various leadership meetings including Monthly and Quarterly Leadership Reviews with Sales Leadership as well as US Cold Beverages Executive Leadership team.
  • Support management of innovation and new launches including pre and post launch drivers of performance and opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor on data analytics to respective RTM Senior Vice Presidents, Division Sales Managers, Region Sales Managers, and our Bottling Partners
  • Anticipate future demands of Route to Market System and broader KDP organization and work with team to design and implement data solutions to meet those demands.
  • Learn and develop expertise in internal volumetric data (e.g. KDP shipments and bottler depletions), as well as syndicated data sources (e.g. IRI)
  • Examine and interpret results of KPIs with the capability to dig into the high-level metrics to inform leadership on drivers of leading indicators.
