About the Role
BYD Australia is seeking a Sales Planning Specialist to join our Melbourne office in Mulgrave. This role is critical to driving the development, coordination, and execution of national sales volume planning and car flow strategy. You’ll play a key part in aligning production with demand forecasts, identifying market trends, and ensuring retail sales targets are constructed in accordance with the fast-evolving automotive landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly vehicle production planning and car flow submissions.
  • Liaise closely with Logistics, Retail Sales, and Dealer teams to ensure delivery targets are met.
  • Support the development of national Dealer sales targets, long term volume planning, and market share analysis.
  • Address operational data requests from internal stakeholders across departments.
  • Drive monthly forecasting meetings, oversee production planning, and coordinate corrective actions when needed.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to ensure go-to-market plans and sales strategies are aligned.
  • Analyse national sales trends and performance to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Contribute to long-term vehicle planning and assist in defining strategic product lifecycle milestones.
