THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytically driven Sales, Pricing & Promotions Analyst to join our Purchasing team. This role will report to the Category Management & Purchasing Director, and play a critical part in driving efficiencies, optimizing pricing and promotional strategies, and supporting profitable growth into the future.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales performance across categories and brands, building and maintaining dashboards and reporting models that track key KPIs and margin targets. to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
  • Translate data into compelling fact-based selling stores, highlighting growth opportunities and performance gaps.
  • Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting with actionable insights.
  • Drive pricing optimization by assessing market position, competitor activity, and MAP/brand guidelines; maintain omni-channel pricing strategies for retail, promotional, event, and industrial channels.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance gross margin through pricing and cost optimization.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing and promotional strategies with business goals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of promotional campaigns (flyers, events, online, in-store), providing actionable post-analysis recommendations.
  • Provide category, brand, and customer activity analysis, including flyer activity, shelf space, and market share
  • Enhance reporting automation, ensure data accuracy, and continuously improve analytics processes.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership, supporting strategic decision-making and profitable growth.
