Description

We are an independent family run estate agent with a modern approach to selling property, who have established ourselves as the number one selling agent in the area due to having an impeccable personalised service combined with our professional expertise and passion for property.

Due to experiencing substantial growth over the last year, we are currently looking to recruit a Sales Progressor for our Chorley branch. The successful candidate will support our sales teams by dealing with the progression of sales between sellers and buyers from an offer being agreed until the point of completion, by regularly monitoring and communicating both timescales and the conveyancing process. As part of their duties as a Sales Progressor, they will also be required to complete the following tasks:-

  • Ensure that outgoing documentation is sent to all relevant parties in a timely manner and is fully noted on our CRM system.
  • Ensure that queries from any parties on a transaction are dealt with promptly and effectively with timely communication at all times with all parties.
  • Ensure branch teams are aware (primarily via CRM system timeline notes) of the status of every sale they are managing on their behalf and ensure they are notified of all key events relating to the progression of the sale through system notes and emails.
  • Advise management promptly of any issues arising, particularly where an agreed exchange or completion date may not be met.
  • In instances where it is not possible to progress a sale due to difficulties between the parties or issues with the agreements originally reached, they will ensure that management is briefed and liaise with them to ensure renegotiation of the deal is completed swiftly and efficiently.
  • Discuss any complaints from any party with management as soon as they arise.
  • Build strong relationships with branch staff and service providers for both the seller and the buyer, such as solicitors, financial services advisors and surveyors.
  • Supporting the branch with Sales Negotiator duties as and when required.

While previous experience of sales progression / conveyancing and working with a CRM system is desirable, full training will be given to the right candidate. All applicants must have excellent communication skills both written and over the phone, be highly organised with an acute attention to detail and have the ability to stay calm and positive under pressure.
The candidate will be employed on a full time basis working Monday to Friday (9am to 5.30pm) and alternate Saturdays (9am to 4pm) at our Chorley branch.
If you to want to join our business in this role and work in an environment that is exciting, busy and fast paced, then please submit your CV before this vacancy closes on the 25th August 2025.
