Description

Fleet Financial is looking for a driven and experienced Sales & Relationship Manager to join our fast-growing equipment finance startup! Founded in late 2021, Fleet Financial is a nationwide provider of tailored funding solutions for trucks, tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment. While we operate primarily as a direct lender, we’ve also established a trusted network of strategic lending partners—carefully selected for their ability to deliver fast, reliable funding to our customers. We’re seeking a hands-on sales leader who excels at building and expanding our dealership and vendor relationships, while also mentoring and developing a high performing sales team. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of progressive experience in vehicle or equipment financing, along with a proven track record of managing the complete financing lifecycle—from lead generation and origination to closing the deal.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Finance Manager or equivalent function
  • Strong Leadership Skillset
  • Dealership Finance Experience
  • Experience with Title laws and registration processes

Responsibilities
  • Grow our dealer / vendor relationships
  • Lead the Sales team by driving successful new dealer and vendor onboarding initiatives.
  • Supervise daily activities of the sales team and brokers. Provide support to navigate obstacles, make recommendations and close deals, timely.
  • Hold team members accountable by conducting monthly one-on-one touchpoints to review scorecards (KPI’s), highlight strengths, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage and own dealer / vendor relationships through quarterly meetings, using a scorecard to review customer quality, highlight customer flow strengths, address improvement areas, and discuss market trends.
  • Provide recommendations and assistance to team members as they assist customers in arranging the financing of their purchase.
  • Ongoing Sales team building, training, performance management, and coaching.
  • Ensure team maintains accurate records of leads in the CRM.
  • Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Accurately audit team deals post sale and analyze for improvements.
