Implementing Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) in BD’s medical realm mirrors BD’s smart connected care vision. BD is a leading global medical technology enterprise, driving advancements in healthcare.
The main focus of this position is to handle a portfolio of Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) customers, with the aim of expanding patient coverage and boosting the usage of APM technologies in diverse care settings.
We are looking for a dedicated, committed Expansion Sales Specialist with a proactive work ethic to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who excels in recognizing untapped opportunities, exploring new business prospects, and developing relationships from scratch. This candidate will concentrate on a promising portfolio of community hospitals and long-tail opportunity accounts. Succeeding in this position demands an initiative-driven, self-motivated attitude and a dedication to expanding business in underserved or emerging markets.
This role will involve reaching out to anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons, critical care medicine practitioners, and EP Lab personnel. Key products consist of the FloTrac Sensor, ClearSight cuff, Acumen IQ cuff/sensors, and ForeSight employed for continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring and/or tissue oximetry devices used in outpatient surgeries. These products contribute to improved surgical recovery, hypotension management, sepsis, and shock management.
This position boosts business expansion in current and new accounts by finding opportunities and finalizing agreements, while also examining performance gaps and implementing short-term regional strategies to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead a set portfolio of Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) customers.
  • Identify untapped opportunities and prospect new business.
  • Cultivate connections starting at the grassroots level with community hospitals and long-tail opportunity accounts.
  • Contact anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons, critical care medicine specialists, cardiac surgeons, and EP Labs.
  • Promote and sell FloTrac Sensor, ClearSight cuff, Competence IQ cuff/sensors, and ForeSight for continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring and tissue oximetry.
  • Support improved post-operative recovery, hypotension control, sepsis, and shock handling.
  • Analyze performance gaps and implement short-term regional strategies to achieve sales goals.
