JLG Industries have an exciting opportunity available for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative in Green Fields who is looking for a new challenge and career growth to becoming a Business Development Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous sales representative experience in a business-to-business sales role, and/or experience in a similar position.
• Experience with CRM systems
• Effective communication both written and verbal
• Ability to build rapport and strong relationships across all levels of business
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required
• Experience and general proficiency with both IT hardware (PC’s, iPad, Smartphone) as well as the use of various web-based or platform-based software applications specifically including E-mail in general as well as Microsoft Office/365 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc.
• Valid Driver’s license

ABOUT THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE ROLE

You will be responsible for the sales and customer relationship building within the access equipment industry.
The main focus of the Sales Representative is to be responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales and customer support for their given region by providing excellent customer service to both new and existing customers and meeting and exceeding all sales budgets and set KPI’s.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:

• Responsible for sales to identify customer base or as directed by SSO(Both existing clients and cold calls).
• Continue to build positive work relationships with targeted customer base.
• Responsible for managing the hand over process on unit deliveries.
• Maintain call cycle for visiting and contacting clients.
• Manage the day-to-day sales activities and account management of the nominated region.
• Excellent customer service for new and existing customers
• Ensure all sales administration, systems & processes are kept up to date and in order.
• Provide accurate on time reporting on forecasts and sales activity.
• Preparation of quotations and follow up.
• Network with customers establishing and evaluating any existing and/or forecasted needs.
• Attend customer and industry events representing JLG Industries including but not limited to; customer social events, openings, EWPA / HRIA meetings.
• General ad-hoc duties as required at branch or national level.
