AEC Daily has been providing online education products and services that cater to the architecture, engineering and construction industry for 25 years. We are owner-managed, stable and growing. We offer remote working and flexible hours.
If you’re an experienced B2B sales representative with a successful track record, we’re interested in hearing from you. In this role, you will be responsible for connecting with new and existing customers, building relationships and achieving sales targets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Business-to-Business Sales, preferably in the construction industry;
  • Capacity to travel to the US;
  • Proven ability to work on your own, meet sales targets, and keep current notes in the CRM – solid familiarity with CRM management required;
  • Curiosity and desire to learn about continuing education, building science, architectural, and construction topics;
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Professional degree or experience in architecture, engineering, or other design profession, an asset; and
  • Proven English language writing skills with exceptional grammar and proofreading skills.
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead generation and prospecting: Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking and referrals;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers;
  • Closing deals: Negotiating terms and closing sales deals to achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets;
  • CRM management: Keeping current notes / follow-ups in the CRM;
  • Product knowledge: Continuously developing a deep understanding of AEC Daily’s products and services, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices;
  • Collaboration: Working with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience;
  • Reporting and analysis: Providing regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant data to management;
  • Product presentations: doing sales presentations and demonstrations, virtually and in-person, to highlight key benefits and features of our products and services; and
  • Attending industry events (includes travel throughout the US).
