SALES REP
Aquabath and Lighting is an industry-leading distribution and service company passionate about delivering value add service to customers in Canada. We are partnered with Tier 1 Brands, offer a multitude of plumbing products designed to meet the customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement measures to increase efficiency; analyze customer opportunities, industry updates to identify customer & market trends.
· Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
· Analyzing sales and customer data to drive sound business decisions.
· Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-selling.
· Develop and implement new sales initiatives and programs to capture key customer demographics.
· Entering orders/estimates into system
· Attain targeted sales goals and performance.
· Resolve customer concerns regarding the sale/delivery of products with customer and internal departments such as operations and customer service.
· Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products
· Providing product information, pricing quotations and follow-up on quotes
· Offering technical expertise on products to customers.
· Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
· Ensuring that customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service.
· Understand the customer needs and monitor their preferences.
· Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends.
· Coordinate with Purchasing for stock replenishment on a timely basis.
· Compliance with health and safety legislation (OHS-Labor standards)
· Comply with the company’s code of conduct, policies, and procedures.
· Any other ad hoc tasks assigned.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
· Exceptional customer service
· Ability to develop long term relationships and generate referrals from customers.
· Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and written
· Time management & multitasking skills to serve several customers at the same time.
· Strong networking skills, outgoing personality
· Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
· Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
· Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
· Graduate degree.
· Candidates should possess a minimum of two years’ sales experience (inside sales or outside sales)
· Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing preferred.
· Experience using Microsoft Office.
· Knowledge of the plumbing industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an asset.
· Excellent negotiation skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
