POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Atkar Division Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for growing profitable sales on the Atkar Acoustical product line in the Canadian and US Marketplace. The Sales Representative is responsible for finding opportunities to fill our operations capacity, following up regularly and closing those deals. The Sales Representative is also responsible for introducing Atkar to Architects, Designers, General Contractors and Drywallers. This position would be responsible for Eastern Ontario and the Maritimes.

- 3-5 years of business development or sales experience.
- French proficiency would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Identify Architects & Designers that work on desirable projects.
- Build Atkar’s spec business through meetings with these Architects & Designers.
- Maintain relationships with General Contractors & Drywallers to ensure Atkar is invited to any applicable opportunities.
- Manage territory performance & exceed sales targets.
- Identify and prioritize sales opportunities that align with our operations capacity.
- Follow up on proposals, providing frequent updates, feedback, and closure.
- Maintain all required documents using the company CRM platform.
- Maintain client/account through the Sales Pipeline stages.
- Organize and plan daily and weekly activities.
- Acknowledge client emails within 24 hours of receipt.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other such related duties as may be assigned by the senior management team which are directly related to the job function.
