Description
Responsible for quoting and selling insurance policies to incoming sales prospects from advertising ad purchased leads while providing excellent customer service to customers. This is an in – person position, Monday through Friday 8:30 am CST – 5:00 pm CST and will be located at our storefront at in Baton Rouge, LA at 4065 Florida Blvd, Unit 1, Baton Rouge, LA, 70806. What You’ll Do: Our Sales Representatives quote, sell, and service our insurance policies. To do this, you will… Quote and sell insurance products to new and current customers. Advise customers on appropriate insurance coverage and options relative to their needs, explaining coverages and payment options as needed. Take payments for insurance policies. Provide customer service to in an in-person environment, as well as over the phone. Services existing customer policies including policy changes when customer service is not available. Perform local marketing in and around the Lafayette area to increase business. Maintain the storefront, opening and closing location daily. Other duties as assigned. What it Takes: Ability to obtain and maintain a Property & Casualty producer's license. Thorough understanding of company guidelines with the ability to communicate guidelines to customers and employees. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft office applications. Organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task with speed and accuracy. Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred.
