SALES REPRESENTATIVE – BROOKS, ALBERTA

Galaxy Fibre (a division of Galaxy Broadband Communications Inc.), in conjunction with our partners at BrooksNET and the City of Brooks, is currently hiring Sales Representatives to join our local sales team in Brooks, Alberta.
BrooksNET—an open-access fibre network —is now fully constructed and live. Galaxy Fibre is proud to be one of the first Internet Service Providers delivering high-speed fibre internet services over this network, offering residents and businesses in Brooks access to the fastest internet technology available.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a community-driven initiative and help connect your neighbours to reliable, future-proof fibre internet!

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

There are approximately 5,000 homes in Brooks now ready to connect to fibre internet. We are looking for enthusiastic and community-minded Sales Representatives based in Brooks to help build relationships and grow Galaxy Fibre’s local customer base.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

  • Comprehensive paid training—learn fibre technology, sales skills, and neighbourhood engagement tactics (no prior telecom experience needed).
  • Base salary + uncapped commissions—earn what you’re worth; earnings grow with performance.
  • Flexible work hours with a focus on weekday availability.
  • Clear growth path to team lead and territory manager roles within Galaxy Fibre’s expanding footprint.
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel outside of the city.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full-time availability.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities
  • Connect locally: Knock on doors, staff community booths, and follow up by phone/email to introduce Galaxy Fibre’s symmetrical gig-speed plans now available city-wide.
  • Own your territory: Plan daily routes, track leads, and keep CRM notes up to date so no household is left behind.
  • Educate & excite: Explain how fibre internet works, why it’s faster and more reliable than cable or wireless, and how Galaxy Fibre’s customer-first support stands out.
  • Hit (and smash) targets: Meet weekly order goals and help the team achieve Brooks-wide take-rate milestones.
  • Be the local expert: Stay current on promotions, installation timelines, and partner initiatives.
  • Represent the brand: Uphold Galaxy Fibre’s friendly, professional image at all times—online, on the phone, and at the door.
