An innovative engineering firm specialising in sustainable waste processing is seeking a driven and energetic Sales Representative to support continued growth within the recycled aggregates market. The role will initially involve managing smaller accounts and supporting sales operations, progressing to full responsibility for developing new business and meeting individual sales targets.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven ability to drive sales and close deals
• Background in aggregate sales, builders’ merchants or contractor engagement preferred
• Familiarity with CRM systems (experience with Glenigans or Barbour ABI advantageous)
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and adapt

• Manage inbound sales enquiries and process customer orders
• Conduct proactive outreach including calls, visits, and email campaigns
• Grow and maintain strong customer relationships (recorded on CRM)
• Handle client queries on pricing, product availability and lead times
• Prepare quotations and support the wider sales function
• Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, finance, marketing) to ensure smooth service delivery
• Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recycled aggregate products and the construction sector
