JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking dynamic and motivated Sales Representatives preferably with experience in the auto-paint and supplies industry to join our team. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients, and delivering exceptional service to auto body shops, dealerships, and garages. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, a proven sales track record, and the ability to provide technical guidance to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the auto-paint and supplies industry or a related field (automotive, industrial coatings, etc.).
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Strong negotiation, closing, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to both non-technical and technical customers.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot customer issues and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly driven, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required, particularly with relevant industry experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in B2B sales within the automotive sector.
  • Familiarity with logistics, inventory management, and product distribution in a wholesale environment.
  • Established network of contacts in the auto-paint and body shop industries.
Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities with new and existing clients, including auto body shops, dealerships, and repair facilities.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain expert knowledge of our product lines, including automotive paints, coatings, and associated supplies. Advise clients on the best products for their specific needs.
  • Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with clients, providing consistent follow-up and support to ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, consistently exceeding targets.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to effectively position our products and identify new business opportunities.
  • Product Training: Educate customers on product applications, features, and benefits. Conduct in-person or virtual demos when necessary.
  • Order Management: Ensure timely order fulfillment and coordinate with the logistics and inventory teams to manage stock levels.
  • Problem Solving: Address customer concerns, troubleshoot issues, and recommend product solutions to improve client outcomes.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the Sales Manager.
