With a long-standing presence in the market and an exciting growth agenda ahead, we are now looking for a Sales Representative to join the team in Auckland. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road, building genuine customer relationships, growing existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities across retail and foodservice channels. The opportunity In this field-based role, you will manage a portfolio of existing customers while helping expand Soung Yueen’s presence across Auckland and beyond. You will be the face of the business with store managers, supermarket buyers and customers, ensuring strong product visibility, great service and ongoing sales growth. This role would suit someone who is proactive, organised, commercially minded, and confident building trust with a wide range of customers. What you will be doing Visit customer sites regularly to promote Soung Yueen’s range of Asian food products and drive sales growth Build and maintain strong relationships with supermarket buyers, store managers and retail partners Identify new opportunities across retail and foodservice channels Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences and record relevant insights in the CRM Work closely with Customer Service, Purchasing and Logistics to support promotions, stock availability and customer satisfaction Deliver a high standard of service while achieving sales and portfolio growth targets What you will bring Experience in sales, account management, or customer service, ideally within FMCG, food distribution, wholesale, or a related environment Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to engage with customers face-to-face Good commercial instincts and the ability to spot growth opportunities Excellent time management and the ability to work independently in a field-based role Fluency in Mandarin and English A full New Zealand driver’s licence Full working rights in New Zealand Why join Soung Yeen?
