Our successful, well-established flooring company client is seeking a career-minded Sales Representative to join their dynamic team of professionals. Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements -

• Strong communication & excellent customer service skills
• Full-time availability, including Saturdays (not suitable for students or candidates who have not yet completed their studies)
• Valid Driver’s License and is required as the successful candidate will eventually use their own personal vehicle to travel to customer locations
• Prior sales experience preferred but does not necessarily need to come specifically from the flooring industry as extensive training will be provided
• Solid organizational skills, presents in a positive and presentable manner and displays initiative

Job Description:

• Sales & customer service - onsite and at customer locations
• Completing extensive flooring and industry related training
• Guide customers in selecting & purchasing flooring, demonstrating acquired product knowledge
• Preparing quotes, coordinating with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution
• Handle paperwork, measure areas for flooring, and follow up on deliveries
• Various other tasks, as assigned

Other Details:

• Full-time Monday to Saturday with one weekday (possibly Tuesday) & each Sunday off, 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Eligible for direct hire after successful completion of 480 hour probationary period
• 5% commission on top of base salary ($19/hr) and benefits after hire takes effect (approx 3 months or 480 hours)
• Vacation time and sick days after 1 year
