ABOUT THE ROLE

Osprey Electric is one of Vancouver Island’s most respected electrical contractors, and our Solar Division is growing fast. We’re seeking a motivated, people first Sales Representative who is ready to take the next step in their sales career.
You might be early in your journey maybe one or two roles in, but you know you love the hunt, the chase, and the satisfaction of earning a customer’s trust. This is your chance to work with a top tier team, learn a high growth industry, and build a future in renewable energy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Prospect for new residential customers through cold calling, canvassing, social media, and local events such as trade shows and conferences
  • Leverage warm lead opportunities through Osprey’s current existing lead generation methods
  • Connect with homeowners to understand their project goals, energy needs and guide them toward optimal solutions
  • Collaborate with our engineering and project teams to design custom solar, energy storage and generator systems
  • Present straightforward proposals and explain the long term benefits of switching to solar and backup power (full training provided)
  • Use CRM tools to track your leads, tasks, and follow ups
  • Hit monthly goals for outreach, appointments, and conversions
  • Offer solar maintenance subscription services to customers post sale
  • Represent the Osprey brand with professionalism and a people first mindset
